Breast-feeding mothers regularly leak milk, even if they are not actually feeding. It can be embarrassing if you suddenly discover damp patches.
Mammae nursing pads offer the solution. The ultra absorbent heart of the pad speedily absorbs moisture and the waterproof layer ensures that the milk does not seep through to your bra or your clothes.
The pads are very ergonomic. They follow the shape of your breast and offer maximum comfort. And the soft cotton is very pleasant against the skin.

They can be washed at 60°C, so that any bacteria are destroyed. Washable nursing pads are cheaper and more ecological over the longer term than the disposable variety.

These nursing pads are available in the same design as the inner bra.

Breastfeeding in public is not always as easy as one would like, even though a lot of effort has been made to convince people that breastfeeding is the most normal thing in the world.
Mothers often go and sit apart or try to cover their breasts with scarves or cloths. This often makes them feel stressed which can have a negative impact on the arrival of their milk.

Mammae has come up with a brilliant solution for this: a bra that covers your breasts while you are feeding. Mothers feel more at ease wherever they are and whatever company they are in.
And because Mammae bras are also very attractive, mothers are proud to show that they are breast-feeding.

You are advised to purchase your nursing bra following the first week after the birth.

Why? Your breasts usually increase one cup size while breastfeeding. This differs though from one person to another. Between the third and fifth day after your birth you will have engorged breasts. They will be very swollen and feel painful; this is when your breasts may increase by one cup size. The typical swelling after the birth usually disappears after 48 hours. During these days you should certainly not wear a bra that pinches. In order to be absolutely sure that you are wearing the right size therefore you should wait until after the birth. And if you would like to buy a bra during your pregnancy, purchase it after the eighth month and buy it one cup size too big.

How do you know which size you need? It is important for nursing mothers to know the right size for her to avoid the bra pinching. A bra that pinches can block the milk ducts and possible lead to breast infection.
